- moishehExplorerThe op should post this in a Fleetwood specific forum. The mechanism is really not designed to be fixed but I have seen reports of a workaround. It is not sturdy like the link provided above.

The gearbox for the jalousie windows in the bedroom of my Coachmen RV are attached to the window frame with a few rivets. This is pretty obvious looking at it, as the frame in question is an intermediate one—there are fixed glass panels on either side of the opening ones to fill the D-shaped space between the rounded outside frame and the rectangular mechanized portion. - AdminModeratorAgreed for more responses
