Concur ! Weight is still the fastest, easiest way to compare batteries, but only if they are the same BCI Group.
From the Trojan spec sheets, the T105 (62 lbs) and the T125 (66 lbs) are exactly the same L x W x H, 10.30 x 7.13 x 11.15 but "
Height taken from bottom of the battery to the highest point on the battery. Heights may vary depending on type of terminal."
The T145 weighs 72 lbs and is 10.30 x 7.13 x 11.90. Less than 1" taller but a lot more lead ! 20 Hr Amp-Hour ratings : 225, 240, 260
