- Cydog15ExplorerHeres where you can get em but others might have them too. WFCO Upgrade
- Cydog15ExplorerOkay I got the skinny on the 8955/4655 MBA by PDI. Apparently it will light anytime there is voltage to the fuse board whether AC is present or not. If there is AC present, it is the mode it is actually in. If not connected to AC, the battery will still power it (the LED) but it's what mode it would or should be, if AC were present. So basically its telling what should be done either way. I might not have it exact but it does work without AC power cause I checked it. FWIW, its a different remote to fit the 4600 series but it comes with it.
- DrewEExplorer IIThe light shows what mode the converter thinks it should be in and so, if it's currently not hooked up to AC power, what mode it will start up in when power is applied.
Steady = high voltage ("boost" I think they call it), 14.4 V setpoint.
Blink = 13.6V if I remember properly ("Absorption"?)
Flash every few seconds = 13.2V float
It's not quite a straight voltmeter from the battery; it has some timing and other logic also taken into account. - wa8yxmExplorer III

I got one of these and I dig it with the remote. should the remote blink when not plugged into power?
Yes, the Light on the Remote is nothing more than a volt meter, So long as there is voltage it should either be on or blinking It indicates the voltage on the output terminals. if not plugged in that's battery voltage. however I do not know how to translate the blink rate (On/Slow/Fast) to voltage... I just know that's what it is measuring. - pianotunaNomad IIIMy Wizard lights when ever it is connected to DC power.
