Was just getting the RV ready for a road trip tomorrow and found I have a problem. I keep getting a AC in light flashing and then it goes to a red fault light. I have checked the breakers and the one on the generator as well. I cannot find the problem. I am not very technical on elec. problems so I am at a loss. It does it when plugged in to shorepower as well as when the generator is running. I just used the coach last month and had no problems at all. I did have to do some maintenance on my batteries this morning I had them all disconnected, could this be some of the issue ??? please help if you can, it is greatly appreciated. I have a 2007 Coachmen Cross Country. Thanks.

What make and model of inverter are we talking about?

Is the inverter below the breaker panel?

Since you disconnected the batteries, make sure they are reconnected correctly. Its amazing how many people reconnect the batteries wrong.

Magnum is one of the few brands that can actually be repaired, versus throwing it away and buying a whole new unit.

Have you gone into the FAULT section of the remote and written down the fault code history? This might give more insight into what's going on.

Push the TECH button on the remote, and then wheel down to 04 FAULT HISTORY, click the wheel and then click again for 04A INV FAULTS. Wheel through the information and copy down what's going on.

About to call Campingworld when they open to see what they can tell me. you are right, it is some serious $$$$ to replace one. Thanks for the assistance.

13.6v is about what I would expect from the inverter/charger when charging a charged battery.

Rather than replacing the inverter/charger and hoping that solves the problem, it might be wise to have someone who knows what they are doing take a look at it. You're talking some serious $$$ here.

Tried the reset that I found last night, it did not work. I checked the battery voltage and it came in at 13.6 volts. Not sure what else to do. Going to call CW this morning when they open to see if they have one in stock. I am just wondering what could have made this one go bad. Everything I have read is that these things are built to last. This one is 6yrs old.....
