The horrible construction seems to be the norm in RV construction. But the cut truss probably not so much.
It's hard to tell in the picture. Is the cut truss on the right side of the vent? Can you use a razor knife and cut some of the excess hanging vinyl so we can see the issue better?
Is there a way you can push the truss up and put a piece of 2x2 or even a cut off piece of 3/4 inch plywood and use in with a few screws to hold the truss back up in position?
