My friend bought a batteryminder 12248 thinking he could revive some AGM batteries he bought, then put on the shelf for years.
It did not work.
I borrowed it and used it for 10 days on a battery that was taking a nose dive. The Nose dive was not halted.
Otherwise i think it is an OK 2/4/ or 8 amps charge but I am not sold the slightest bit on pulse desulfation chargers and would not pay that much money for a well marketed product.
My friend leaves it hooked to an old battery 24/7, still hopeful, and points to a 12.8 resting voltage when removed, but never puts a load on the battery to see what it can do, or cannot do.
I think he finds the flashing green light to be soothing.
I think I am going to market flashing green lights to the masses for everything from hemorrhoids to weight loss diets as it seems that is what the human brain craves and believes in.
OP, I'm surprised the batteries lasted as long as they did considering your abuse of leaving them to sit discharged in between outings.
