Yeah, 97 amps. at 16.5 volts,.....now couldn't that get exciting real quick !
Actually it isn't doing 16.5 volts very long. Most the time its at 15-15.5 till the last 5%. Apparently Shumacher thinks that's good for the batts. I won't argue, but do think its unnecessary. This charger charges my electric motorcycle, and my 24 volt lawn mower, and my Dodge "12v power hungry" Caravan.
So far, 16.5 volts has not hurt any electronics in the dodge, or the jeep I had before. But I still prefer the PD 14.6,....going to 15.5 now and then ????? I KNOW how long batteries last, and how much water they don't use, under a PDs supervision. How's the SG ????? Who cares, when the batteries perform surperbly !
Yep, Quartzsite coming soon enuff. 300 watts of panels (tiltable) on the roof this year,......I'll get bored, along w/ my little Honda,.....the one that never has fuel problems from corn oil. But then, neither does my MH, or my GCV, or my Honda outboard, or my 2 stroke tiller, or my Kawi Mule,...........or my electric Harley :) Actually my electric Harley is an old classic Zappy scooter w/ a seat and basket on it to go grocery shoppin, hee hee :)
I bet you miss not having fuel problems... You'd have more tinker time to play with all your toys fixing them and keeping them running then. Maybe I should give you .4 gallon of corn gas to test in your little Honda so you can experiment with it for a year leaving it in the carb of the little red beast, and then you can get back to us and call us all liars?
