What is the rated output of the generator? The magnum is good--but it can't "create" energy and the maximum input on the charger side for my 3012 is 15 amps, which gives an output of 125 amps. If you go over that limit the Magnum overloads.
Either that--or there is some sort of measurement error creeping in.
I have 2 Honda's 1st eu2000i 2nd eu2000i companion.
From Honda site...AC Output 120V 2000W max. (16.7A) 1600W rated (13.3A)
I set the magnum at 15a there is no fault flash or overload shutdown. In the images from the other post look at the me arc displays.
In these images here..the first one explains the recorded daily info columns. If you look at 9/16 that's with eu2000i started @ 35% (175ah) at 1700 hours (5pm) ran for 1 hr and shut it down 60% (300ah).
On 9/23 useing the orther generator eu2000i companion started at 49% (245ah) at 1700 hours (5pm) ran it for 2 hrs and shut it down 90% (400ah) basically the same amount of charge.
