Amps is amps, 100 amps still needs a 100 amp breaker, even if you are trying to use an 120vac breaker
Could you use a small breaker panel

But it will be larger and cost more than using a DC fuse panel like the one above

What size AC-spec breakers would I want for 100 amp DC loads? Is 15 or 20ish right?
