rjxj, yes, I have been doing 12v/24v for quite a few years but not at the level of you guys here! And I have never had a non-homebrew RV, so I don't know what are the 'normal' ways of doing things.
By homebrew I guess I mainly mean using stuff like plastic and copper bars to create a buss bar/ fuse board vs buying finished products. So the ice machine is 24 volts and the freezer is 120 with inverter and the van is 12 volt. How much of the time are you plugged in?
