westend: So you mounted those 3 blue sea switches in one box? I like that idea. It might suit how my brain works, more than having one switch to select bank and then everything else having on/off breakers. I will think about which I like better for my application.
MrWizard: Makes sense. But all the switches and things can be just on the pos, yes? But what was rjxj saying about having the monitor on the negative?
rjxj: Thanks for the writeup! I was reading elsewhere a comment that soldering/torching large lugs onto stranded wire was not so great, because it results in what is essentially a half inch of solid wire... which can get hot and melt the solder and then where are you.
There was a thread a while back here about hydraulic crimpers, good and bad. Was that you?
