When my father - who also kept diesel in a red can with the word 'diesel' on it in magic marker - was too ill to mow his lawn, and I ended up pouring diesel into his gas lawn tractor cause I didn't notice the magic marker, he didn't seem to think it was on him. He thought **I** was the idiot for not noticing the magic marker scribble on the side of a RED gas can.
I bought him a yellow diesel can for Father's day after that. And kept my thoughts about someone being too cheap to do it right to myself.
