No power to thermostat

On our last trip we noticed that the thermostat wouldn't come on, so we didn't have AC or heat. Now I'm finally getting around to looking at it and I was expecting a blown fuse or something somewhere. All fuses in the panel are good including the one in the thermostat. I was hoping to find a fuse somewhere on the Coleman Mach roof unit, but no luck there. I hooked up a spare thermostat to rule that out and the AC still won't kick on. I'm thinking it may be the circuit board. Any other ideas???

Thanks

Mark
  • Unlike virtually all home thermostats, most of the OEM thermostats don't have dedicated power running to them. the thermostat just opens or closes a line to the furnace or AC unit to start the furnace or AC. that line may or may not be a 12V line
  • There is a fuse in the thermostat, and it usually gets its power from the furnace, so check the breaker on that, if it's an Atwood/Hydroflame.
