First, measure the hole where you current fridge is, go outside, remove the grill behind the fridge and measure side-side. Now measure front to back. Go inside and measure top-bottom, realizing that some of what you see is trim.

Now measure the doorway opening, should be somewhere between >24in and ,28in. Now go to Lowe's or HP website and search for a unit within your measurements. You need one of the measurements to fit within your door size, probably front to back.

When you find one, they will deliver it, haul the old one away, you will have to break the RV one loose, not a big deal.

we just replaced our neighbors dometic with a haier from wal mart I found it on line as you stated most were two tall or dorm sized. it is a little too deep but fits nice,no handles.had room to build a 5 inch drawer above it ken

just replaced mine. Don't remember the breand name (from Sears) but there are lots of the 15 cu inch refrigerators that will fit in that opening without having to enlarge it. The often referenced Samsung was too big for my opening as well.

If you are not boondocking, you don't need an inverter, just plug into the same place as where the element was for the RV fridge.

Make sure the width fits. Many residential fridges over 6 cu.ft are at least 30" wide, too wide to fit into RV frig opening. Shut the propane vent on tank before removing the old fridge and cap the fridge propane line immediately.

1800W inverter? And what is the start-up current of your planned residential fridge?

4 batteries - what size? 4*225 AH @6V? With other electrical devices they will last 1 day before you have to charge them. In other words, daily music of a generator.
