The new burner tube came in today , just ordered yesterday from Amazon decided to try it even though ingnigher is not here yet. I cut of about an 1/1/2 ins of the old supply tube and re flared the end re installed it with a flare nut, turned it on and before I could get outside to watch it was lit and working. The old ignighter is 18 years old also, so I have a spare. The lesson I learned is even thought the flame is blue with no yellow and makes a slight roaring sound it may be not hot enough to send the signal back to the control board saying the flame is there. The new burner tube is actually quieter(less air). So HW and refer both work and I'm ready to go camping again next week.
