I was hoping that you wouldn't tell me that, but I was definitely leaning that direction. Will do the test to see what happens.
Does the fact that it operates same on gas vs electricity tell you anything?
YES..cooling unit
One outside possibility...thermistor not being sensed but fridge should have gone into 'backup operation'----kind of a limp mode but instead of cooling based on thermistor........cooling cycle is based directly on temp set point and you have to change it to get cooler/less cooler temps
What day did you mess with thermistor and change temp setting from 5 to 7?
Day 3 day 5?
DO the direct electric element test.
Have you checked the 'diagnostic screens'?
