Last and final test, I hope.
Ran system on LPG for 8 hours and freezer was at 5* fridge fins were at 35*. I am quite certain that if left to run longer the temps would come down further, comparable to electrical results.
Don't know if the problem was the thermistor, which I removed from the fins, then replaced back to the fins a few hours later, or possibly that driving the trailer from Kansas to Wisconsin and back may have had some effect on the unit. In any case, it seems to cool normally and within specs so we are off on our next trip to Arkansas in a week or so. With both cold and frozen foods.
