I checked my Norcold's propane gas fired flame, and found it to be the beautiful blue flame color, however, it has an red/orange dot in the center of it. Is this a problem that I need to address?...

It's likely a flake of rust that's fallen down the pipe and come to rest there. Try to carefully remove it so it doesn't fall into the burner itself, because if that happens and it lands in the right place, can pre-detonate the LP within the burner causing it to backfire. Guess how I know.. ?
