Lots of grumbling for something apparently not even available in MX.
May need to wander up into Texas next time.
A transformer type wheeled Schumacher battery charger costs THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS down here not a hundred forty like in the USA. A TEN AMP Schumacher costs a hundred sixteen dollars. This is why I want to legally import a true battery charger and pay the 16% importation tax. But I am not allowed to.
I make not a freakin' cent doing this. It is to keep Celso's shop running at minimum cost. So that dirt poor Mexicans who MUST use a car because there is NO public transportation for 75 miles and NO taxis.
His shop has eaten about five hundred dollars in what California demands. SMART CHARGERS. They work for a couple of months, charging batteries to a staggeringly full 75% then they fail. No recycling. They go to land fill.
And this is SMART? Please elucidate me :)
