'On the Go' water softening device- orange granules

Flopur recommends storing the water softener with the regenerating salt solution in place. Did that for two summers and it worked okay. After rinsing a little longer than I usually do it was put back in service and the time between regenerations did not change.

I'll probably never forget again, but just out of curiosity, If one was to spend the money and get the replacement kit, could you just apply a few spoonful at a time, or do you have to go through some long and thorough replacement procedure?

A teaspoon is not enough to worry about. Refills from WaterPur were $35 the last time I checked.

Always relieve pressure BEFORE opening top.

How much quantity of resins beads did you loose? Refill kit is not cheap. ($85)

I wouldn't worry about it if it was less than a full cup.
Loss of resin beads just means shorter run times before having to regen.......nothing else.
