If it were a gasoline generator and gas engine, I'd probably dump some Berryman's B-12 or another additive in the tank just to see about helping with varnish on the carb.
Thanks! Its gas and the tank is full. The carb is less than a year old because the old one did varnish from lack of use. It has been run a lot since the new one since we're essentially FT'ing and running it all the time when we are moving because it is hot in Mexico now! This just started a week or so ago.
