Onan Generator, 2003 mdl 4000watt works, no power inside

Question

We recently bought used Forestriver Sunseaker 29' motorhome. The Onan generator runs fine, but it's not powering anything inside - no microwave, no a/c, no 110 v outlets, nada!  New to generators &amp; motorhomes - so we are starting from square one.  It has the autostart on interior of motorhome. Breakers seem to be ok.  Is there some switch on generator we're missing that we need to check, or???

On my Onan there is a breaker on the generator - if that's popped the generator will run but won't provide juice to the rig.

There should be a bypass switch that allows you to switch from the power cord for power to the generator for power. Once this is switched to generator power or auto standby then you will have power when the generator is running.

In addition there are circuit breakers on the generator, you need to make sure they haven't been turned off or tripped. Your generator manual will show the location.
