If you can more on later that means you could scatter panels around now, not just in that one 120 x 48 space.
The panels don't have to be close together. Also of course the 12v panels don't have to be the same wattage either, just close in voltage so they add their amps evenly, like when I had a 130 (8.2a )and an 80 (5.1a) and got 13.3a ok.
