With limited space you get more into it with 24v panels, but then the MPPT controller cost is way high. The choice here was to go PWM for less controller cost and keep the same wattage in the space.
Now the panels to do that won't fit. Ok, so the other thing was no climbing on the roof. You can't have it all, so the new plan :) is use four 100w panels where you hinge them as "foldable"
Now you need space for just two 100s and when you get there you go up and unfold them, where they might hang out over the roof edge a little or whatever but who cares? Fold them back on departure. So that is twice up the roof each camping trip.
You don't care about solar charging driving down the road so that is not an issue. At home you can unfold one to be the solar maintainer if you don't plug in.
If you park right, instead of unfolding all the way flat you could leave it part way up with a prop as a tilted panel with the flat
one(s) in front of that adding some reflection
