Portable, battery powered fan

Not a "high tech" question.

I am looking for a battery powered, table top fan, somewhere between about 6" and 12". Not too loud on high speed. It needs to stow fairly flat.
  • Hi rockhillmanor,

    That is one *serious* fan!!!

My 02cool had an optional power supply. I did not use the batteries at all, except to test the fan out.
  • My first battery operated fans where o2cools too.
I needed to keep the dogs cool and safe driving thru the south in summer time.

Unless you have stock in the energizer bunny you will "literally spend $100's of dollars on the batteries" for those fans and they last all of about 15 minutes. And if you use them a lot like I did they just up and die.

I threw them all out in the dumpster at a CG!

Here is what I bought to replace them.
These fans are big, "powerful", low and high speed, RECHARGEABLE batteries AND each charge lasts a loong time. I bought an additional battery kept charged so I can keep these fans running forever.

(this pix is from back when I bought them. I think they have redesigned the look of them since then)
Fan Stands flat or you can hang them up by hook attached to back.

Can't say enough about this portable fan.
  • The red head girl picked up one of the O2cool 10" desk fans at Home Depot for the motorhome. Runs on D-cells or AC adapter. It's compact and quiet. Works very well.

This however is my wife's favorite. She has two one for home and one for travel. Batteries are heavy enough to make it stable ane they last a long time. Her oldest is at least 10 years old and still going great. Thay are variable speed too.

02cool makes fans that fit your needs.

02cool makes one that fits your description except that it is smaller than six inches - and it's enough to stir the air inside an RV bedroom.
