You are right, I did not KNOW.
Normally, I have a mechanic do an inspection. I was just going by the overall description (yes, with a big grain of salt)...just sounded like what with the replaced/improved equipment, carpet, curtains, counter tops, toilet, sinks, etc, that the owner probably kept the whole vehicle in decent shape.
He is also a Harley owner, and I know those folks to be pretty particular about the machinery.
But yes, good point, long distance purchases are very tough.
