Check the extension cord by feeling the connections on either end. Replace it with a heavier cord if there are any hot areas on it. Also check your RVs power cord, if it's hot, change the head too, or change it if the connections on the head are discolored. This often happens in summer to 30Amp cords so I always carried a couple 30amp heads with me so I could replace a melted head in a few minutes.
Doesn't hurt to open your RVs electrical input box and tighten all the screws. Or check wherever you're plugged into for tight connections.
Better do it now before it's too hot to move. And be safe...if you don't know basic electrical, call a pro.
