cant help except to say i have the unit WITHOUT the remote display and i have no issues when plugged into a 30A circuit.
I suggest calling Progressive Industries - their support is VERY GOOD (I've called 'em twice, once w/ an install question & once at a park who had bad pedestal wiring)...they were very responsive.
