I'm reminded of a Bedini contraption that uses spinning magnets. Because of how it pulses voltage, it is useful as a showy way for desulfating dead batteries, but other than that, when I ask people, who brag about its "free energy" capabilities, to build something on a scale that can just sit there, spin, and keep a 15K BTU A/C going, they run for the hills.
