question for full timers re black tank
Hello Friends.
We have involuntarily become full timers... We moved into our motor home in January after discovering black mold in our house. I'm no rookie, we've put 70k miles on our pace arrow over the last 10 years with great joy. Long story short, we are parked right next to the septic tank so that I can dump directly into it. Anyway, I've been dealing with the black tank like I've always done, waiting for it to get full enough so that I get a good empty and treating with the normal stuff. In the last few months the odor has become unbearable. I'm talking eyes watering stomach convulsing beyond comprehension zombie afterbirth bad. We have about another 2 months to go before we can get back in the house. I'm thinking a solution of a bunch of baking soda, vinegar, and filling the tank up about half full, then taking a Robin Williams type drive and a purgative evacuation might be the solution, but frankly I'd rather not move the beast. Any advice on a plan of action would be most appreciated.
Thanks for the hard earned wisdom.
