I, personally appreciate all the work you've done in reasearching this generator.
I have a low cost 1000Watt generator I bought on ebal a couple of years ago, however, when I saw the Elim3000 on ebay I almost bought it (I wasn't willing to pay $80 for shipping).
I looked into it on the Elim website as the noise level a significant parameter for me. With a 67db(A)noise level I was convined. I then saw it advertised at Pep Boys and bought one about 5 or 6 weeks ago.
I'll be going to Florida for a sports car race in two weeks and I'll be using the generator there.
