All-Just curious as to how the Wen Power Pro 3500 generators are lasting. Can they pull a 13.5 A/C unit? Are any mods necessary for them to pull that load?
Thanks,
Curly
I had one but a thief cut my steel cable and took it out of my truck. I only had a few hours on it.

I have one I bought in Oct 1995(right after Hurricaine Katrina). It has I would guess around 100-125 hours on it ans is holding up just fine.Still starts on the 1st or 2nd pull.I have been running 10w30 synthetic blend oil in it.seeme OK.My dad also has one.we had to mod it for full 120v power to get it to run the A/C in his fiver.
Now I have a question, does anyone know where online I can order parts(mostly engine)for a Coleman Powermate Maxa 5000?(I found a few,but am leary ordering parts from a company I know nothing about)I been having it since 1995,& it saved my a** during Hurr.Katrina.It is VERY LOUD,but was glad to have it,Along with my 1000,& 500 watt inverters, with 9 deep cycle communications batteries.I ran the gen for probally 12 to 15 hours for 8 days (ran perfectly).now it doesn't seem to have any compression left.(at least not much)I would like to rebuild before Hurricaine season this year.
Thanks for any info
