Sadly, I am relegated to the cheap seats, as I don't have an electric start model. So I won't be taking this project on. However, I have 100's of alarms, keyless entry systems, and remote start systems under my belt, and would be happy to help in any way I can.
Also keep in mind that this same setup can be used in a 'wired' situation; it doesn't have to be RF remote. With higher amperage relays back at the generator, one could run something as little as CAT5 into the rig to trigger the relays. Might be kind of fun to design and build a generator command center with switches, LED's, and all sorts of other bells and whistle's.
