Sorry for the delay, been busy dealing with split lino from cold weather.
I couldn't be happier with my Champion, for the money I don't think there is a better buy. I have used it in all sort of conditions, as well on the house during a winter power outage.
As for noise I don't have a problem with it, I've used other generators in the past and its quieter then any other full RPM model I have every used. Is it as quiet as a Honda 2000 at low RPM no, but I can honestly say I think its quieter than a Honda 2000 when its running full tilt...ie running AC or large draw items.
