But this small leak does hit the ground after the hot pipe.

It won't catch on fire, but it will smell bad and smoke. As others have mentioned just keep an eye on the oil level.
I'm currently replacing the engine in my stepson's '08 Jeep because it had an oil leak that was not monitored properly. That's about a $3,000 mistake for that particular vehicle even with me doing all the labor.
