- mfinnertyExplorerSometimes the slots on the orifice deteriorate and the flame doesn't hit the sensor correctly. Have had to replace mine twice.
- kellemExplorerHad it happen twice over the years and both times it turned out to be a paper wasp built a nest in the orifice.....had to dig it out with coat hanger.
- Sjm9911ExplorerYup , clean the burner, and the propane intake. Also check the flue for wasps nests etc.
- midnightsadieExplorer IItake burner out and clean watch u tubes for how to. call a rv tech theres mobil tech service way cheaper than a dealer.
- AvaExplorerLook at the burner and see if there is a little pile of tiny metal bits pulled under the burner. They are rusty filings coming from the boiler tube above. If so, some of them can plug the burner up. Vacuum or blow out the burner tube and try to light again. This something I do a couple times a year when mine quits.
- MitchF150Explorer IIIDo you hear the spark thing trying to light? It'll sound like "click, click, click" until it turns off if it does not light within about 30 seconds and then the "check" light should come on, on the fridge panel.
Do you smell gas in the outside refer vent area when it does this and does not light?
Is the gas tube plugged where it enters the flame area?
Good luck! Mitch - 2oldmanExplorer IIyoutube has some good help on this
