- BamaRVerExplorerBatteries are good now and fridge is not working. Neither in lp mode nor AC mode. No errors from control panel. What else should I look for?
- BamaRVerExplorerThanks for the replies, I'll let you know once I get batteries replaced.

By explaining that both the AC and Fridge need 12V along with shore power and then telling the OP that if the AC is not working along with his fridge is HELPING him track down a problem. He may not have even had the AC on to tell if it was working or not.
Fridge, AND AC not working on shore power coupled with drained batteries - testing the converter is the best place to start. - If you are plugged in, the converter or inverter/charger should still supply the fridge with 12 volts even with a bad battery. Usually.
I think the voltage can sag to 10.5 volts (maybe lower) and the fridge board will still keep the cold going. - lanerdExplorer III think the OP was concerned about his fridge.. not AC and his question was answered.

The ac will trick you sometimes and send you down all different paths as to what is wrong throwing the symptoms to a problem off. Did for me.
The ac will come on but when the thermostat reaches it's desired temp and shuts off....it can't come back on with out 12V.
So if it never reaches it's set temp it will keep running and then you think I don't have a 12v problem cause the ac works!! Sent me in circles. Was bad converter for me. Not putting out enough V was not it's problem, it was putting out SO much uncontrollably it was french frying the battery!!
To the OP: No fridge, no ac, battery will not hold charge.....check the output of the converter. - ksg5000Explorer IIDoes your fridge work when hooked up to shore power - chances are you converter would provide the DC power to keep fridge working even without batteries. When not hooked to shore power you need a decent battery to keep fridge working.

- JnJnKatiebugExplorerYes, fridge requires DC power to run the control board.
