I installed a set of gas struts to lift our bed to access the underbed storage easier. Being from Canada, the frieght costs on that sort of stuff gets prohibitive. I did all my research on the excellent Hatchlift website and went to a local RV dealer for the parts. If it hadn't been for the shipping costs to Canada, I certainly would have ordered from Hatchlift, because their prices are very reasonable and I believe that their parts are more robust than I could find locally. That being said, following the instructions on the website gave me a very happy result. I hadn't been able to find a whole lot of information prior to finding Hatchlift, so I put up a YouTube video showing how I went about it. Here's a link:
