Cost was a bit less than a Fantastic Fan. It runs on 12 volt with very little draw. I saw the draw at their booth but I don't remember the numbers. It was less than the existing fan and light.
It fit right into the existing range hood (after removing old fan). We kept our same outside vent but could have had a new one. It also has a slide to shut off the 'flue' so bugs can't come in when the fan isn't on and sucking.
