actually, i have my gennie mounted on a steel deck off the rear of the bus... so i did plan on occasionally charging my battery bank while traveling. so, i could, if need be, run the a/c off it. i'm just concerned about the extra hours on the gennie.
i use the rear bus door as my main entry, so i installed a screen door strut to hold it open when necessary, and the deck serves as a set of steps as well as storage for the gennie, etc.
