- Ray___JuneExplorerYou might also check to see if the manufacturer installed a relay to activate the running lights. The headlight switch was originally designed to run headlights, side markers and taillights on the vehicle, not 8-12 more running lights.
Too much amperage through the light switch was a common problem for RV's for many years until they started using relays. - Beverley_KenExplorerHere is the link toWinnebago wiring, There are Ford fuse blocks under the hood as well as under the dash, if a fuse most likely Ford, but why.
Ken - j-dExplorer IIYou can get wiring diagrams from the Winnebago site. Just as a tip, some coach builders connect the house body (stop, turn, running) lights up to "trailer" wiring harness of the chassis. So check that circuit and fuses too.
- BwairmanExplorerIt is a Winnebago Motorhome, 2009 Ford F450 frame. All lights work, just not the running likes. Have checked every fuse in the whole system.
- DrewEExplorer IIIIs this a trailer or a motorhome or a truck camper?
Regardless, you have a bad or broken connection somewhere, or a blown fuse that you haven't checked. It could be a ground connection or a power connection. If it's a trailer or truck camper, the obvious first place to start looking is at the connections between the truck and the RV. If it's a motorhome, there might be a good deal of hunting around to do to find the problem; if you can get a wiring diagram, especially one that shows the wire routing, that might be very handy.
For motorhomes, occasionally they do odd things like wire the running or other lights to the trailer light circuits of the chassis.
