The OP was doing something that his Trailer and 7 way wiring was NOT designed to do. The 7 way trailer connections are for low amp current flow. The Charge line is JUST a recharge line to recharge the RV battery/'s. NOT to supply excess current to run hi amp appliances. THAT is the Job of the RV batteries. The Service center did nothing wrong. The OP is the one that did the wrong thing. Doug

blue brake is 12 gauge
black (12 volt pos) is 10 gauge
all others are 14 gauge
This is the 7 way TRAILER end. If you use the Truck wiring harness, very few would have the larger Gauge from the OEM truck maker.
