Excellent response and question to finally get folks to start considering a better generator value than what the good old red generators deliver.
In my opinion, Honda has been too high priced for way too long and is getting a bit long in the tooth. I think Honda may be considering a major revamp of some of it's generators because Honda folks have been taking customer inputs on desired improvements in these forums and elsewhere.
FWIW, the Champion design center is right here in California. They look to be a real challenge to the existing Hondas ... and at far fairer pricing.
