Not sure what happened my converter is not working on shore power and half my 110v is dead. Microwave works. Started the genny and everything works. On shore power there is a problem. Is my transfer switch going out? I'm the dum dum who had both air conditioners running and switched from gen to shore power a couple days ago.

IF everything, and i mean everything for 110v works with the generatorthen yes, there is a good chance it is the transfer switchbut start with the easy stufftake a close look at your shore cord male plugis burnt is it pitted and blackis it meltedgoto home depot etc.. buy a new TT-30 male (trailer 3 blade male)and replace ityour 30amp Transfer switch is most likely located behind the breaker panel/converterwhich means several hours of work, no power, and the need of someone electrically handy to get in there and check it

Sounds like the batteries are failing. Why are they failing? Well you have to determine whether they have lost the connection to the converter, or if the converter has failed. Put your meter on the converter output positive and negative terminals. If you see 13.6 there, you should see it on the batteries on their positive and negative too. If you don't see it on the batteries, the wires between the converter and the batteries are loose.In my case, it was the negative wire off the converter that fed to the battery. I jiggled it, and all the lights in the house lit up. Tightened the screws up and it worked forever.

It's been a long hot day my brain is working at 10%. My panel has 2 legs. Right side is dead. Bu my feed from shore power is only 1 leg. So it's transfer switch right? On the genny I had both air condertions cranked. On shore power there is no 12v and everything on the "right side leg" is dead. Does a transfer switch have heat sensitive temporary breakers? It's been hot. Everything worked fine this morning.

Replace the transfer switch with male and female plugs as necessary.

Have you checked that both legs are live at the pedestal. We've had a bad leg on the fifty amp breaker.

just as you found the loose wire in the blue (4) wire female plug

adapters can get hot enough to burn a wire on the inside

your A/C on a 20amp circuit, voltage goes down current goes up, resistance goes up, heat level goes up, its bad spiral that keeps going and getting worse
until something fails
heating the cooling, cycling will cause screws to loosen

Im sorry i didnt realize the adapters could fail without very easy to spot physical damage. They looked in good shape. Can the wire fall off the connector under the rubber?

apparently you have a 4 blade 50amp rv service ( but you never said yes or no )
it has (2) hots (1) neutral (1) ground
you have this plugged into (3) blade 30amp adapter , plugged into a 30-15 adapter ?

YES or NO ?

we all thought the 50 to 30 had burned out (1) of the hots inside the adapter

It was a loose wire at the socket that plugs into the trailer. Doesn't appear to have been arcing.

Adapters? Like power cord adapter or a part inside the transfer switch?

I'm hooked to a 20amp breaker and pulling 14amps.

Your adaptors are burned out. Sounds like you are on a 15 amp trying to supply a 50 amp.

I'm on 15amp.
Using generator everything works.
Plugged into shore I have no 12v and half my 110v power is gone.

i'm confused, do you have a 50amp RV or a 30amp rv

if you have a 50amp using a 30 amp adapter,

it connects (2) legs to one 30amp hot leg

adapter has burned out

Have you checked the power source you are plugged into? We have had 1 leg with no power on a power connection and the problem was not ours. We also lost 1/2 of the 110 inside when that happened.
