Nice myrtle beach sounds awesome right about now. I just got back from a 7 day maine trip and it was amazing up there. Saw my first wild moose eating like a deer on the side of the road and the wolves howling at night over the huge lakes was awesome.

The GP hero 3 is tricky. One must update the firmware right out of the box and only use good micro SDHC or SDXC like the top of the line Sandisk or Lexar. I couldn't record more than a minute at a time with full 1080 or 1440 or it would stop within a minute and sometimes freeze. After I updated the firmware and bought better storage, the things been flawless. I like that I can attach to my drone a shoot arial video with good quality.

Your truck sounds awesome. I look forward to giving mine a little extra kick. btw..one of the other campers here saw me hooking up my little propane tank and came over to chat with me. He also had a bad propane tank and decided to change his setup very similar to what I want to do. I love camping and meeting new people. Its awesome. I'm hoping to make it up to Maine next summer. That sounds fun too.

I meant crew cab, not sure why I keep confusing quad and crew. I have an 07 Classic LT3. I absolutely love it. Best truck I have ever owned so far. No problems other than losing prime because of the filter head. I'll probably go with an aftermarket setup with a lift pump next time it gives me trouble. Did you upgrade your trans? I'm concerned about its longevity if I do get it in the 13 range. It's my work truck and the only thing that can haul my tractors around.

Anyway, we made it safely to myrtle and the grill tank was very easy to connect to the main line so we made lemonade out of a lemon. Looks like I will have a little project this winter with a custom girdle for two tanks. I love fabrication stuff.

Thanks btw. I was happy with the time she ran, def has more. Had a poor 60' time. I think shes somewhere around 630-640 ish at the wheels. With the stock turbo i pulled a 13.3 no weight reduction. You will be so happy getting some exhaust and tune setup. Cant go wrong with idaho rob or kory willis efi tunes. :)

There's tons of room down there where the old tank is. I started thinking about building a custom girdle for two 5 gallon tanks. That way we can detach them and exchange them quickly almost anywhere. The main line to the coach is right there as well so it looks like it will be pretty straight forward.

If I could get my dually into the 13's that would be amazing. It's my work truck though so I need to be conservative with the mods. Is yours a quad cab long bed? I can't imagine my truck going that fast but it would be funny. One of my car runs high 11's so to imagine your truck being right there with it is amazing.

Great minds think alike. I was driving around in my dually today trying to find a place that can make me a custom a/c line for the motor home because the condenser blew a hole and has been discontinued. The only option is a newer unit but the upper hose won't connect do to the angle. That got me thinking about bringing a small tank from our grill and just attach it to the line since I have to remove the old tank anyway. A replacement tank is $500. I wonder if the existing tank can be welded. I could fill it with water and flush it out really good. Welding a tank like that makes me nervous but what do you think? It's just one small spot on the existing weld.

btw. Impressive numbers from your dually. I have an 07 Classic and am thinking about trying to get a little more out of it. Not twins but maybe a tune and exhaust.

when i am in one place for an extended time i have the extend a stay hose set-up and two 30# tanks i use and shut off the main tank. You might want to look into this. i use it so i don't have to move the rv for propane.

I guess maybe the newer models are coming with both gas and electric? This is my first camper and i have both but by your reaction thats not the case. Can you attatch a small propane tank to it?

Carolina fuels actually told me they could not remove the propane and that I should park it in a field away from structures and people and open the bleeder. So I did.

We're gonna bring a couple of ice chests for the cold stuff since we won't have propane to run the fridge when driving and go ahead and go. I can handle a cold shower, it wouldn't be the first time. Electric hot water sounds nice, didn't know they made anything like that. The kids will be swimming and doing other stuff so they can rinse at the outside shower.
