That's it- there is a button on one end, push it back in.I think it will be the one on the right in the picture.
Yours have rubber covers, but you can see the button in this pic-
I'd buy you a beer if I could! I looked at that thing 3 times and didn't see the tiny button. It was on the right, as you said. I pushed it in and everything is working again.
