joel, 30a or 50a will work, while 30a may afford you a little more protection.

Those are exactly what I got. Went with 2 30amp surrounding the controller and 100a in front of an invertor. The 40amps are only available from china right now and are 1 1/2 months out. I passed on the 50amp thinking if 49amps made it past the fuse it in theory could fry the controller.
