splendide stackable dryer removal
Has anyone removed the stackable dryer from a Winnebago Journey, looks like it should come out but clearances are very tight! Any suggestions would be appreciated,

- Mine is located on our full wall slide. I had to remove the left inside false wall in the bedroom medicine cabinet (removing shelves and top false ceiling). You can then remove the mounting bracket on the top, right rear of the dryer. I removed louver doors, the cross piece which the upper and lower doors latch to. Remove screws attaching dryer to washer brackets. Lift up and forward. I attached a rope line to dryer plug to facilitate re-install. You can loosen dryer vent hose clamp pryer to removal. Helper is handy.
- do a search for stacking kit for splendide. then you can see how it is installed.
You may have to remove the shelf above the dryer - Too bad your in Minnesota...I'd offer to help and then take them out of your yard. Wife has been wanting this....:-) but we gone 15 years without it....oh well!
