Is it a normal wiring configuration for the stove hood light and fan to be tied into the under-cabinet lighting? Just an observation on the new trailer...thought at first it didn't work at all on battery power but then DW noticed it worked with the under-cabinet lights turned on at the switch.
What they did was tie the Hood light to the COLD side of the cabinet light switch instead of the HOT side. Easy fix. Doug- shastagaryExplorersomebody screwed up wiring that up should be easy to fix by rewiring the supply power from the under-cabinet light switch. the supply wire to the stove hood is connected to wrong side of the under-cabinet light switch.
