To those that have replaced their cooling units
What did you do with the old core? I want to cut the old one up but no idea what the internal pressure is. How did you depressurize it ?

Got it, thanks... Thats what I was afraid of. With my recent 2 month stay in the hospital thanks mostly to Pneumonia, I am particularity aware of things that might damage whats left. I'll call me HVAC friend and see what he recommends since I'll have two of them by the weekend. I know the Freon rules but not Ammonia, Sulfur, etc.
